Ava’s life began in heartbreak. As a puppy, she and her two siblings were abandoned in a cardboard box.

Luckily, her brother Aries managed to escape and was spotted by a kind office worker. As the rescuer brought him to safety, a faint cry led her back to the box—where Ava and her sister Amber were still huddled together, barely holding on.

All three were rescued that day—but Ava, the most timid of the trio, is still waiting for her happy ending.
