VIDA

Vida is currently abroad and is looking for a loving foster, or forever home. Vida is 3 years old so is full of life! She was found by the side of the road late at night, we believe that she was dumped out of a car by previous owners. She absolutely thrives on human attention and is a super clever girl. Vida has been waiting a long time now, so we would really love to find her a home.

Her likes & needs: 

• Interacting with humans

• To be an only dog

• Adult only home

• Not be homed with small furies

• Doing training (learning tricks & general training)

• Enjoys time outside & playing

What type of home would Vida suit?

Vida would suit a home where she is centre of attention. Her adopter would need to be fit and able to manage her on lead, as she is very strong. Time would need to be put into teaching her to walk nicely on the lead and have more engagement with her handler. She adores humans, and she is very clever, so training is very enjoyable for her. An adult only home would suit her better due to the 1-2-1 time that she prefers with her handler. This goes for being the only dog in the home too, though she is fine with other dogs, more so with males. No small pets please, as she is not keen on them.

Vida loves going in the car and going for walks, which would make her very suitable to an active home where she can enjoy long walks. She needs a home who will give her plenty of time to decompress when she arrives and with time, begin training with her loose lead walking and other general training. She will make a wonderful, loyal companion to a single person or couple.

Breed experience will always be favoured when it comes to German Shepherds, so this will be an added bonus if you already understand the breed. They are very clingy and like to be your shadow. They also mature slowly, so have puppy-ish ways even when they are an adult.
