ATLAS (in UK)

Atlas is HERE in the UK (Norfolk, NR16) and is looking for a forever home!

Atlas is a 3-year-old neutered mixed breed who is full of love and personality. Sadly, his owners were struggling to meet his needs, so he is now looking for a new home where he can truly thrive. He has been in foster and has been doing so well.

Atlas is a playful and affectionate boy! He loves his toys—especially crinkly ones—puzzle games, and even cardboard boxes! He has a soft spot for cheese and enjoys trips to the beach, where he delights in digging in the sand.

He is good on the lead but can pull if he sees other dogs. Walking in quiet areas suits him best, as he finds loud, busy environments overwhelming. He enjoys enclosed fields where he can run freely and play. At home, he is toilet trained, non-destructive, and settles VERY well when left alone. He has lived with another dog and a house rabbit, whom he ignores. He lives with four dogs in his foster home and prefers the female dog, the three males he isn’t as happy with. Therefore, Atlas can only be homed with female dogs or be an only dog. He is living with three cats too, he took some time to trust them, but is now absolutely fine with them.

Atlas is not a fan of busy streets or people constantly passing the house, so he would prefer a quieter home with minimal hustle and bustle. He warms up to visitors but needs gentle introductions to build his confidence.

His Likes & Needs:

✔ Loves tummy rubs, ear scratches, and cuddles
✔ Enjoys playing with toys, puzzle games, and cardboard boxes
✔ Loves trips to the beach and digging in the sand
✔ Best suited to a quiet home with minimal visitors
✔ Walks well on the lead but needs guidance around some dogs
✔ Prefers peaceful environments over busy urban areas
✔ Ignores house rabbits

What type of home would Atlas suit?

Atlas would thrive in a calm, stable home with an owner who understands his need for gentle introductions to new people. He would love a quieter environment away from busy streets, where he can enjoy peaceful walks and playtime. A home with a secure garden would be ideal for his zoomies and toy time. He can live with another friendly, female, playful dog but would also be happy as an only pet.

Atlas needs an owner who understands that his confidence needs building out on walks around other dogs. He can be dog selective - some dogs he will pass with no problems, while others he will bark at. He is making good progress with training with this in his foster home. The foster carer and rescue are there for any adopter to give continued support and advice to his training on walks.

If you are looking for a loving, playful companion with the most soulful eyes, Atlas could be the perfect match for you! He is already in the UK and is easy to meet (subject to an application and home check).

Because Atlas is a rehoming case, he has a lower adoption fee. If you think you can offer him a kind and loving forever home—please apply for him!
